Bluezone’s First-Ever Innovation Space

The denim industry doesn’t need more concepts. It needs solutions that actually work on the factory floor. This September, the first-ever Innovation Space at Bluezone will prove that innovation isn’t merely an idea. It’s something you can test, tweak, and take home.


Why Now?

Who’s Running the Show?

Future Fashion Assembly, founded by Sofia Strazzanti, is the fashion industry’s first collaborative “innovation showroom,” a platform dedicated to connecting brands, retailers, and manufacturers with vetted, scale-ready solutions, bridging innovation and adoption in fashion. More than a curated digital marketplace, it provides hands-on strategic support to fast-track innovation with business leaders through curated showcases, matchmaking tools, and actionable insight reports. At Munich Fabric Start, Future Fashion Assembly is leveraging its expertise in sourcing strategic market-validated solutions and brand engagement to co-curate this activation.

Baytech-HMS is the creator of Hand Made Stone (HMS), a patented and sustainable alternative to pumice stones used in denim washing. Founded by Beyza Baykan, HMS has evolved from a material innovation into a platform for community engagement and education, best known for its globally popular denim workshops at Kingpins Show, The Mills Fabrica, and beyond. HMS is leading the creative direction of the space and interactive workshop sessions.

Special Feature: Denim After the Loom (The Fireside Chat)

One of the headline moments is a 30-minute session called Denim After the Loom: From Stone to System. This fireside chat, a part of a growing global series initiated by Beyza Baykan, Managing Director of Baytech-HMS, began in London with the one and only Adriano Goldschmied. It explores the moments after fabric comes off the loom — the wash house, the finishing line, and the choices shaping a jean’s story.

This edition will bring together two influential voices in denim: one a pioneer of wash innovation, the other a driver of future-forward production; an honest, practical conversation moderated by Sofia Strazzanti, Founder & CEO of Future Fashion Assembly. They’ll discuss the friction between craft and new tech, the pressures around traceability, and the real challenges of shifting supply chains.
