Exploring the New Collection of Wohlatz

The latest developments for buttons, ribbons, decorative stones, closures, linings, lace, embroidery, interlinings as well as labeling and branding solutions will be presented by around 150 leading international ingredients and accessories suppliers in the ADDITIONALS Area at MUNICH FABRIC START. Explore some of the novelties here in our ADDITIONALS blog posts:

In recent years, the fashion industry has increasingly centered on sustainability and environmental protection. Many collections combine street art with floral motifs to draw attention to ecological challenges. Flowers symbolize not only nature and biodiversity but also call for a fundamental shift in how we approach the environment. Fashion thus becomes an expression of messages and values advocating for the protection of our ecosystem.

Moreover, fashion trends reflect emotional needs. In times of uncertainty, such as during the pandemic, people seek expression, comfort, and inner harmony. Future fashion trends may focus more on the psychology of color and the interaction of fabrics with individual personality, while the freedom of self-expression becomes increasingly important.

Nostalgia also plays a central role in fashion, often reinterpreting historical styles to create a bridge between tradition and innovation. Fashion pieces are intended to embody elegance and a personal touch.

A global trend is also emerging that seeks to bring fashion into a more responsible and inclusive context. New generations demand social responsibility and ethics within the industry. Inclusivity is defined not only by size diversity but also encompasses cultural and ethnic differences.

A trend toward minimalist elegance is reflected in metallic accessories with clean lines and sustainable materials. As Wohlatz Additonals suppliers Gruppo Uniesse, VStudio, Unizip, Texcart, Achille Valera Lissoni, Erre Bi.Bi. blend nostalgic influences with modern techniques and sustainable design in their Spring.Summer 26 collections, resulting in exciting and varied fashion. Colours play an important role, both in monochromatic and bold combinations, reflecting the shift toward responsible and creative expression in fashion.

“Nostalgia also plays a central role in fashion, often reinterpreting historical styles to create a bridge between tradition and innovation. Fashion pieces are intended to embody elegance and a personal touch.”

Exploring the Beauty of Contrasts:

Introducing Cadica’s Opposite Collection

5. January 2025

In design, contrasts often hold the key to originality. They create intrigue, depth, and a sense of harmony that captures the imagination. At Cadica, this idea inspired us to develop the Opposite Collection, a range that celebrates the meeting of opposites to craft a truly unique sensory experience.

The Inspiration Behind Opposite
The world of textured interior design provided the spark for this collection. There’s a certain allure to the way contrasting materials and finishes interact—how smooth marble sits alongside rough concrete, or how glossy lacquer complements matte wood. We wanted to bring this concept into the realm of branding and fashion.

“The beauty of the Opposite Collection lies in its ability to tell a story.”

What Makes Opposite Unique?
The Opposite Collection is a dialogue between contrasts. Each piece, from labels and tags to patches and buttons, explores the interplay of textures and tones. Imagine the soft feel of leather contrasted with the rugged texture of recycled materials, or the way glossy foil catches the light against a matte background. These combinations create a tactile and visual experience that goes beyond mere design.

Sustainability at Its Core
At Cadica, sustainability isn’t an afterthought—it’s a cornerstone of our philosophy. The materials in the Opposite Collection are responsibly sourced, and we prioritize sustainable production methods. This collection offers brands the chance to align their aesthetic goals with their environmental values.

A Language of Contrasts
The beauty of the Opposite Collection lies in its ability to tell a story. Each element reflects authenticity, character, and elegance. For brands looking to stand out, these contrasts create a narrative that is both compelling and memorable.

Whether you’re designing for luxury, contemporary minimalism, or bold innovation, the Opposite Collection provides the tools to bring your vision to life.

Explore some of the novelties here in our ADDITIONALS blog posts:

At Nilörn, we believe that branding is an experience essential to a company’s overall success. Twice a year, our design team collaborates closely with our material team to introduce five new collections, highlighting our latest novelties within trims and packaging. Centered around innovation, materials, and design our concepts aim to showcase how brands can seamlessly integrate responsible product design without compromising on tactile or visual creativity and aesthetics.

Admix

Admix embraces a sporty streetwear look – bold, tactile, and comfortable. The materials are carefully selected: These include recycled polyester and materials that perform well for sports trims, such as recycled TPU and silicone. The packaging follows the same ethos and is made from soft, flexible recycled EVA, recycled LDPE, and FSC™ certified paper. The product images highlight key features such as statement pullers, heat-seal labels, and reusable packaging.

Him & Her:

HIM & HER is a unisex collection that combines sustainability, recycled materials, and a timeless design. With this range, we ensure every detail is made responsibly, from prints using Algae ink™, all the way to the garment labels made from recycled polyester and the hangtags made from FSC™ recycled paper with recycled cotton strings. Product highlights include paper tags using dyed-through FSC™ paper and patches MADE WITH MIRUM®, a 100% biobased leather alternative.

MNDR Capsule

MNDR Capsule is a contemporary brand that elevates everyday casual wear with bright pops of colour and soft gradients. The trims used in this range are made from recycled materials wherever possible, including FSC™ recycled paper tags, recycled polyester sateen labels and recycled metal trims. Product highlights include soft-touch brand labels, logo buttons, and mono-material retail packaging.

Nordbeck Arktik+

With strong, contrasting colors and graphics, Nordbeck Arktik+ boldly blurs the lines between urban streetwear and adventure gear. This concept uses materials proven for trims in the outdoor segment, such as bluesign® certified silicone, recycled ABS, and recycled polyester. Product images feature bold 3D patches, cord stoppers, and high-definition brand labels.

Adrian Foray

Our well-dressed brand Adrian Foray, one might even say preppy, features designs that suit the modern man in both urban and business settings. The trims reflect today’s requirements for responsible production, utilising recycled and biobased materials for labels, trims and packaging. Examples are recycled polyester, corozo and fashion paper made from upcycled industrial residues. The product images showcase key features, including plastic-free packaging solutions for shirts, hangtags with flexible paper strings, and a variety of branded buttons.

Our mission: to guide our clients in the world of labelling

At Nilörn, we aim to design products to be recycled at the end of their useful life. Today there are limitations on the recyclability of textile parts and accessories. We continue to monitor developments in the recycling industry to improve the end-of-life options for our products. All our collections are also integrated with our platform of digital services, Nilörn:CONNECT™, and include unique QR code labels to help the brand enhance traceability and transparency in its product range.

Read more about our work on our website. We also look forward to meeting you at our booth, B01 in Hall 01 during the fair to discuss our latest collections along with our commitment to innovative design and responsible production.

Creative inspiration

Tailored Creatives is their ground-breaking series where they highlight the inspiration that can be gathered from other creative disciplines and demonstrate how these can be applied to your branding. Having explored the world of typography and graphic design in 2023, this year they are launching their new capsules inspired by AI art at Munich Fabric Start, so visitors will be the first to see and experience their development. Featuring nods to seasonal colours and trends, the collection highlights all that is possible with your branding, and how inspiration can strike from any creative craft.

Their recent “Blue Ink” release shows how you can use a simple colour palette to have great impact using different production techniques and effects. Not yet caught up on their Tailored Creatives releases in 2023, their ¡Excelsior! collection will also be on display to show their evolution of ideas and creativity. All of these collections are backed up by digital presentations and supporting materials to show the impact these can have on the design process, and to emphasise the importance of these steps to minimize the amount of physical samples produced and shipped, helping to have a positive impact on the environmental impact of brand development.

“Featuring nods to seasonal colours and trends, the collection highlights all that is possible with your branding, and how inspiration can strike from any creative craft.”

Sustainability starts with design

It’s a phrase they use often, and one they truly believe in. At Checkpoint they’re committed to helping their customers meet their sustainability goals. As sustainability starts with design, they have created the Planit process.

Bringing together their creative and account management teams with their packaging and brand teams, sustainability is considered at every part of the products journey from material and construction to production location. Designed with the planet in mind.

Their Planit Collection is the Planit process in practice ensuring your sustainability message is clear and based on real, measurable data. Materials are responsibly sourced and produced in their global network of ethically accredited factories, as close to needle point as possible, to reduce your carbon footprint.

The collection considers the end of life of a product, using preferred more sustainable materials to help you design for circularity whilst also considering recyclability.

“At Checkpoint they’re committed to helping their customers meet their sustainability goals. As sustainability starts with design, they have created the Planit process.”

Prepared for the future

With the growing list of legislations and regulations on the horizon, the pressure on brands and retailers is huge. They have a huge amount of experience in helping brands navigate these issues through smart labelling solutions, and they are on hand to offer insights and updates on the latest updates as to how they can support your brand.

Their innovative GEMINI TAG™ provides duplicated QR codes supplied on one RFID embedded pocket tag to help with traceability from point of production and through the supply chain, as well as providing easy access to key product information to end consumers in line with the latest Digital Product Passport updates.

Unique identification of each garment, above standard SKU level, is a key component of DPP requirements, but their decades of experience in data integration allows them to address this challenge with confidence. Through serialized QR codes, either provided as a PFL or as a woven branded label, they can provide easily accessible links attached to the garment for all your vital information.

And as far as extra added intelligence goes, Checkpoint provides one of the largest and broadest RFID portfolios available, all designed and manufactured in-house for added quality assurance. Whether you’re looking to increase traceability through your supply chain, increase inventory accuracy in-store, provide increased loss prevention security or added consumer engagement through NFC tech, they have the solution available to you.
